St. Peter's Outreach: Click through to learn more.

St. Peter's Outreach has expanded in recent years in an effort to have a greater impact in our local, national and international communities. Our congregation has always been generous in giving of personal time and talent to many religious, social service and humanitarian organizations, all of which have differing missions and objectives.

The Outreach Committee designates a portion of our budget to organizations that have, over the years, demonstrated continuing care and support within the community.

To enable parishioners to work individually as well as collectively, the parish has sought to select a small number of organizations where there are strong opportunities for personal commitment – already manifested and with the potential for additional service opportunities. These organizations receive allocations of parish funds to support their efforts and to find constructive tasks that we can perform to help meet the needs of families and children at risk.

The Market

Each February, The Market continues St. Peter’s outreach tradition of volunteering time, talent and treasure, as over 120 women and men working together make The Market a success. We firmly believe that a better future for all depends on providing vulnerable Savannah children with safe environments and opportunities to maximize their abilities. Thousands of dollars are raised at each year's Market; all net proceeds benefit Savannah area children. Read more.
