We are Invited
Intro: Life with God is good because God is good.
Lesson Recap: Jesus compares the Kingdom of God to a wedding feast—All are invited!
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Ask- How do you feel when you are invited to a party? What do you think God’s banquet is like?
Say- Jesus invites us to be his followers--he offers us life with God forever.
Wonder Together- I wonder if the people Jesus was telling this story were surprised? I wonder why no one came to the feast? I wonder why the king got so angry? I wonder what the strangers on the street thought when they were invited?
Pray- Loving God, thank you for inviting us to be your followers and live life with you. Help us remember to prepare our hearts for you to come in new and amazing ways. Amen.
