Michaelmas: St. Michael and All Angels
Intro: Life with God is good because God is good.
Lesson Recap: Angels are messengers from God. How can we be messengers of God’s love for others?
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Ask- Are angels real? What does the word “Angel” mean? Who is St. Michael the Archangel? What is different about him than other saints?
Say- We can be messengers of God’s love and mercy for others.
Wonder Together- I wonder why angels say “Fear not” when they meet someone in the Bible? I wonder if God still sends angels with messages today? I wonder how we can be “angels” to others?
Pray- Loving God, help us be messengers of your love to others. Give us courage to do your work. Amen.
