Lesson Recap: Saying “I’m Sorry” & Asking for Help (Numbers 21:4-9)

We learned how the people of God were complaining about their long journey and the snakes that were hurting them. Eventually, they said sorry for complaining and asked for help with the snakes. God told Moses to put a snake on his walking stick so they people would look at it and be helped.

Then we made a snake craft! We will process in with our snakes next Sunday, 3/17 for St. Patrick's Day. St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland, you know? We'll also have a snake hunt (fake snakes) in the church yard and St. Patrick himself will give out little treats in exchange for the snakes.

At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):

Pray: Loving God, help us know when we need to say sorry and ask for help. Amen
