Giving thanks and service
Life with God is good because God is good.
Lesson Recap: Jesus teaches that when we are generous to others we are serving God.
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Ask- What do you remember about the story Jesus told about sheep and goats? What are some generous and loving actions we can take this season?
Say- When we are generous and grateful, God uses us as his hands and feet.
Wonder Together- I wonder what it means to help God make his dream come true? I wonder what Jesus meant when he said “as you did for even the least of my children, you did for me.” I wonder what the world would look like or be like if we did the generous things Jesus talks about in this story.
Pray- Loving God, Help us to see you in everyone we meet.
Act- We will have an opportunity to serve others during Advent on Saturday, December 16. Help us hand out Advent Care packages to our parishioners at The Marshes and Thrive!
