Easter 4 - The Good Shepherd

Writer: communications032communications032

We had fun last week going on a "7 mile walk" outside and thinking about how it would feel to see Jesus after his resurrection. Then, we had some goldfish snacks to remember how Jesus was hungry! He isn't a ghost, he's alive and hungry!

This coming Sunday, we will talk about sheep and how Jesus is the Good Shepherd and takes care of us. He will look for us if we get lost! And we will make this cute sheep craft.

If you want to play "Hide the sheep" at home, pick someone to be the seeker (shepherd) , hide something (like the sheep craft or a stuffed animal) and play "hot/cold" for the shepherd to find it.

Lesson Recap:  John 10:11-18 The Good Shepherd

At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):

Pray: Loving God, thank you for letting us know that we are your sheep, and you love us. Amen.

Wonder Together-

• I wonder how it feels when you get lost? How would it feel to be lost sheep?

• I wonder how the sheep recognize their shepherd’s voice?

• I wonder how Jesus finds us?

• I wonder what you heard God say in the story.

• I wonder what the most important part of this story is.
