All Saints Day
Intro: Life with God is good because God is good.
Lesson Recap: We learned about the Beatitudes and read a book based on Hymn #293 - I Sing a Song of the Saints of God.
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Ask- Who are some saints you know? Is there an ancestor in your family you or your parents/caregivers admire and would like to remember?
Say- We celebrate all those who have shown us the way of faith, the way of Christ, and the way toward God.
Wonder Together- I wonder what makes someone a saint? I wonder what the Kingdom of God is like? I wonder how we can live as if God is in our midst?
Pray- Loving God, you bring is together in relationship with all who follow you: Help us to follow you the way the saints did. Show us your love and send us deep joy. Amen.
“For the saints of God are just folk like me, and I mean to be one too.”
