The food pantry at this midtown Episcopal Church serves a wide community of need -- adults raising their grandchildren, the frail elderly and homeless people. Our bi-annual food drives during Lent and before Thanksgiving have supported St. Michael’s I AM Food Pantry for many years. Additionally, St. Peter’s Outreach allocates funds from parish giving for holiday meals. Bakery items are delivered each week from our neighborhood Publix -- food that would otherwise be thrown away.
