Who is Jesus?
Intro: Life with God is good because God is good.
Lesson Recap: Simon Peter acknowledges Jesus as the Christ and is given the key to the kingdom of heaven (From Matthew 16:13-20)
At home (bedtime, car rides, mealtime etc.):
Ask- Who do people say Jesus is? Who do you say Jesus is? Who did Peter say Jesus is?
Say- Jesus is the Christ, the only Son of the Living God. Our faith in Jesus is a foundation for the church.
Wonder Together- I wonder why Jesus called Peter “Rock?” I wonder what nickname Jesus would give me? I wonder how we can be a strong foundation for God’s church?
Pray- Loving God, help us have a foundation of faith so we can be rocks for your church. Guide our eyes, ears, mouth, hands, and feet as we live life with you. Amen.
