Prayers for the Nation

We are hosting a prayer service on the eve of the presidential election, Monday, 11/4 at 6 PM, incorporating intercessions and music to pray for our nation. This special worship service provides a sacred space for people of all political persuasions to come together in prayer, singing and reflection. It serves as a reminder that, despite our differences, we are called to “seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves” (BCP). This service offers an opportunity for us to pray for wisdom, discernment, and guidance as voters discerning candidates and for God’s provision of worthy leaders. We acknowledge that the challenges facing our nation are complex, and that we need divine insight to navigate them. We approach the election and its effects with a spirit of peace, reconciliation, and respect for all.
