About the event
Help us honor the Feast of St. Francis, who loved animals, by blessing our pets and blessing the community and wildlife that enrich our lives.
This year, St. Peter's will be partnering with Messiah Lutheran to raise $1400 to buy an industrial sink for the Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center.
Checks can be made out to “St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Memo: Wildlife Rescue Center.”
We’ll be collecting donations until Oct 2, 2024 at 5:30 PM, when St. Peter’s, Messiah, and neighbors will gather with pets of all sorts to pray, give thanks and bless our pets at the St. Peter’s Ark (in the back parking lot).
All are welcome, even if you have a fearful pet that prefers to stay inside a car or golf cart.
A representative of the Savannah Wildlife Rescue Center will be onsite to offer more information about what they do for our community.
