About the event
Amidst the joyful hustle and bustle of Advent lives the reality that this season is not just merry and bright. There is also loss, grief, and loneliness, especially in the absence of a loved one. St. Peter’s offers a Longest Night service, a service of Holy Communion that makes room for the sadness we might feel at this time of the year. All are welcome to attend and participate in this service, whether your loss is tangible or intangible, recent or lingering. The Longest Night service will take place in the St. Peter’s Chapel (opposite the library parlor) on Wednesday, Dec 20 at 6 PM. For more information, contact the Rev. David Wantland.
